Bibliophile Bookbase lists over 4 million antiquarian, rare and out of print books offered for sale by independent booksellers worldwide. Book records in numerous database formats are uploaded and indexed daily. The indexing system is highly sophisticated  allowing a wide variety of specialised searches. One or more images can be linked to a book record. These are automatically thumbnailed and viewed as popups. This allows fast download of search results with the option to see a full-sized image of the book, maps or print. The Bookbase web site is accessible in four languages. Booksellers listing on the Bookbase are provided with a search interface for their own web site that lists their books only.
